While I admit, the Dominion cost estimates are a bit on the retarded side, things are not set in stone yet. The devs should definitely have done a bit more homework, in what they think a given sector can produce for isk out in 0.0. It'll get fixed, I have hope, or they will see within 2 months a complete collapse of any alliance. While I know they want to shake things up a bit, I expect that's not their goal. If CVA, Atlas, ROL, PL AND Goons all collapse due to retarded estimates of price - face it - most of us will never play in Empire again. Capital Ship pilots need a major corp, and our player base has combined 10k subscriptions. I have 4, and I am not in any way unique. Shit will get fixed.

I am sick of the Chicken Littles. I want Dominion to come, as much because I am interested in the changes (and the chaos while we get stuff sorted out) as to shut the whiny bitches up.

I have started offering 'Can I have Your Stuff' offers to the people who are cryassing about how the End is Nigh. So far, no takers.

Also, my favorite thing to do while I am afk freightering or chilling doing semi slow stuff in Eve is to play TF2 on Steam. I think I'm officially screwed as a spy, when I talked on the voice comms in that game last night, and a random person who is *not* a goon knew who I was. 'Oh, you're the ______ from Goonfleet?' (to which a different person bitched about 'idiots who play 15$ a month to stare at spreadsheets' - my witty comeback was internally stifled, as I had a fuel use spreadsheet up). Maybe I ought to get one of those wacky voice modulator programs....

It's perhaps not the smartest thing to tear down your spymasters illegal tower, but it sure is funny. I had to wrestle through an IP ban on my teamspeak, a banned jabber chat, pulled roles from my assistant, and not much I can do about the older, fatter, picture on the forums that replaces my cute little bee.

But goddamn, was it funny to watch him make an ass of himself.

Drama. Where would space be without it? An empty void, free of nerdrage and bluster. All over what took us under an hour and a half to do.

Directors? Don't ever call your logistics people stupid. It's not a good idea! Not only do we have the same persistence that lets us spend 8 hours to put up a POS - to get even, there are also very few people who actually want our jobs to replace us with if we get sacked.

EDIT: If you're reading this, our maintenance is OVER! The problem was not found on our equipment, which means we'll have to work with our ISP to fix this small problem -- which also means another maintenance window in the future -- but at least we have eliminated our side.

Hi everyone, sorry for the late notice but I'm going to have to do some testing on 1 of our 4 internet circuits TONIGHT; Friday night or Saturday morning depending on which time zone you're in.

Most of us shouldn't notice any impact, though there may be some slowness or lag when I switch traffic on to our other ISP circuits and then another hit when I stop the tests. If a page won't load or times out, try hitting refresh 1 or 2 times and it should load then. If it doesn't work at all... trust me, I'll be typing really really really fast to try to undo whatever I just did. Hopefully you'll have some Halloween candy (if you're in the USA and celebrate that kind of thing) nearby to take away the bitterness of a small site outage. :(

Here's the handy-dandy Website That I Always Use to get a feel for when the maintenance will start in your area. Our site traffic historically dips on Friday afternoons until Saturday morning which is why we tend to pick this time for maintenance work.
